Terms & Condition

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Compass Athletic Booster Club website and any purchases, donations, memberships, sponsorships, event registrations, volunteer signups, ticketing links, or related transactions made through or linked from the website.

By using this website, making a payment, submitting a form, purchasing a membership, making a donation, purchasing an item, signing up to volunteer, or purchasing event-related tickets, you agree to these Terms.

Compass Athletic Booster Club (“CABC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting student athletics.

Website Use

The CABC website is intended to provide information about booster club activities, memberships, donations, sponsorships, events, volunteer opportunities, merchandise, school-related ticketing links, and related athletic support activities.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website.

Nonprofit Status and Donations

CABC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Donations made to CABC are intended to support the organization’s mission and activities. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donation receipts may be provided upon request for eligible sponsorships, events, or donations.

Donations are non-refundable.

Memberships

CABC memberships are annual and begin in May of each year.

Memberships may include volunteer participation opportunities and, depending on membership level, physical items or other membership-related benefits.

Memberships are:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-transferable

  • Valid only for the applicable annual membership period

CABC reserves the right to modify membership levels, benefits, pricing, or availability at any time.

Yard Signs, Magnets, and CABC-Fulfilled Items

CABC may offer student athlete yard signs, name magnets, sport magnets, or related items.

Yard signs are rented and must be returned according to CABC instructions. Name magnets and sport magnets may be purchased as part of the yard sign process.

For yard sign or magnet orders, parents or guardians may be asked to provide the student athlete’s name, sport, and standard purchase/contact information.

Yard sign, magnet, and related CABC-fulfilled orders are final once ordered and are non-refundable.

If an item is printed incorrectly due to an error in fulfillment, CABC will make reasonable efforts to fix and replace the item.

CABC is responsible for delivery or pickup of CABC-fulfilled yard signs, magnets, and related items. Delivery, pickup, or fulfillment timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Third-Party Merchandise

CABC may link to third-party merchandise vendors, including Fusion Brands.

Merchandise sold through Fusion Brands or another third-party vendor is handled by that vendor. Product availability, fulfillment, shipping, returns, exchanges, refunds, and customer service for third-party merchandise are governed by the vendor’s own terms and policies.

CABC does not process Fusion Brands orders and does not handle Fusion Brands refunds, returns, exchanges, fulfillment, or customer service. Customers should contact the original third-party vendor for merchandise questions, refunds, or exchanges.

CABC is not responsible for delays, defects, refunds, exchanges, or customer service issues related to merchandise purchased through a third-party vendor.

Banquet Tickets and Events

CABC may sell or promote tickets for athletic banquets or other events.

Unless otherwise stated, CABC banquet or event ticket purchases are generally:

  • Non-refundable

  • Non-transferable

  • Subject to event rules and availability

If an event is rescheduled, canceled, modified, or otherwise changed, CABC will handle the situation on a case-by-case basis.

Guests are expected to follow standard behavior expectations for a school-related function. CABC reserves the right to deny entry, remove attendees, or refuse future participation when behavior is disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or inconsistent with school or event expectations.

School Tickets and Hometown Ticketing

School athletic tickets or other event tickets may be sold through Hometown Ticketing or another third-party ticketing platform.

Purchases made through Hometown Ticketing are subject to Hometown Ticketing’s own terms, policies, and platform rules.

CABC may have the ability to approve or process certain Hometown Ticketing refunds on a case-by-case basis when CABC determines that a correction is necessary, such as duplicate purchases, payment errors, or similar issues. Refunds are not guaranteed.

For Hometown Ticketing purchases, customers should follow the ticketing platform’s support process and contact CABC only when a CABC-related review or correction is needed.

When you click a ticketing link, you may leave the CABC website and use a third-party platform.

Volunteer Signups

Volunteer opportunities may be managed through third-party services such as Signup.com.

Volunteers may be asked to provide standard contact information, such as name, phone number, and email address.

Volunteer opportunities are generally intended for CABC members.

CABC may change, cancel, reassign, or modify volunteer opportunities at any time. Signing up for a volunteer opportunity does not guarantee a specific role, assignment, location, or time slot.

Volunteer signups through third-party platforms are subject to that platform’s own terms and privacy policy.

Payments

CABC currently processes certain direct purchases through Stripe. Other transactions may be handled by third-party platforms, including Venmo, Hometown Ticketing, Fusion Brands, or other vendors.

By completing a transaction through a third-party platform, you agree to that platform’s own terms, policies, fees, and processing rules.

CABC is not responsible for third-party platform errors, delays, outages, processing issues, or policy decisions.

Receipts may be provided by Stripe, Hometown Ticketing, Venmo, or another payment processor depending on the transaction.

Refunds and Cancellations

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Donations are non-refundable.

  • Memberships are non-refundable.

  • Memberships are non-transferable.

  • Yard sign, magnet, and related CABC-fulfilled orders are final once ordered and are non-refundable.

  • Banquet and event ticket purchases are generally non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Hometown Ticketing refunds may be reviewed case-by-case when CABC determines a correction is necessary, such as duplicate purchases or payment errors.

  • Fusion Brands merchandise refunds, returns, exchanges, and customer service are handled by Fusion Brands according to its own terms and policies.

  • Third-party merchandise refunds are handled by the third-party vendor.

CABC reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders, memberships, tickets, volunteer signups, or transactions when necessary.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a concern about an order, payment, donation, sponsorship, membership, ticket, or event issue, please contact CABC first at cabcodessa@gmail.com so the issue can be reviewed.

CABC prefers to resolve issues informally whenever possible.

Chargebacks or payment disputes may delay future order processing, membership handling, ticket handling, or related support while the dispute is reviewed.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The CABC website may link to third-party websites or services, including but not limited to:

  • Stripe

  • Venmo

  • Fusion Brands

  • Hometown Ticketing

  • Signup.com

  • Wix

  • Facebook

  • Other vendors, stores, payment processors, fulfillment providers, event platforms, or technology providers

CABC is not responsible for the content, security, privacy practices, terms, refund policies, fulfillment practices, or customer service of third-party websites or services.

Use of third-party websites is at your own risk and is governed by that third party’s own terms and policies.

Website Content

The information on this website is provided for general booster club, athletic support, membership, donation, sponsorship, volunteer, merchandise, ticketing, and event purposes.

CABC makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate, but we do not guarantee that all information, pricing, availability, event details, links, or content will always be current, complete, or error-free.

CABC may update, remove, change, or correct website content at any time.

Order and Event Changes

CABC reserves the right to change product availability, event details, pricing, membership benefits, volunteer opportunities, pickup/delivery details, and website content at any time.

If an error occurs in pricing, product description, event details, or availability, CABC reserves the right to correct the error and, when necessary, cancel or adjust affected orders.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by law, CABC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, third-party services, purchases, donations, sponsorships, volunteer signups, event participation, ticketing platforms, merchandise vendors, or payment processors.

This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

Privacy

Use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using this website, submitting information, making a payment, purchasing a membership, making a donation, signing up to volunteer, or completing a transaction, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

CABC may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
